Sensationally Sunkissed~ July 2014 Ipsy Glam Bag
After being shipped in North Carolina then sent half-way across the country ( I'm not sure what happened)...and then back to Kentucky...my Ipsy Glam bag arrived at last! And I must say..this Ipsy bag is absolutely on-point! I am very pleased with all the products, this is the second glam bag that I have received and I was satisfied with the products last time, but this time I think the products are even better.
So, I will go ahead and start off with the actual glam bag, I thought this bag was too cute with the scalloped edges and the hot pink color. This is a very nice bag, and versatile as well. It is a faux leather material, which not only makes it great for storing makeup, but it would also be great to carry in your handbag or even use as a wallet.
Now onto the products: The first product that I tried was the Pixi-Tinted Brilliance Balm, and let me just say..this little thing is great! It doesn't look all that pigmented from the tube, but when you put it on your lips it is has a nice pink tint(not too overpowering but defiantly there). It also has a nice mint flavor, and as you use more product you can twist the end to receive more lip balm. Brilliant! Also, the color is Unique Pink.
The next product is bareMinerals READY Eyeshadow 2.0. These are very pigmented shadows..which I love! They have great color payoff and you can also do a day or night look(as pictured on packaging). The lighter pale pink shade is called Muse, and the darker plum shade is called Passion. On the packaging it states that these shadows last up to 12 hrs, as well as delivering skin-nourishing benefits. I have not worn the eyeshadow yet, but based on the texture and the great color pay off, I believe it. But I will have to try them out and see how they do!
The third product is POP Sunkissed Bronzer in the shade Secret Sunshine. This is a great bronzer for a natural sunkissed-glow(hint: the name). On the photo on the right, I swatched it on my finger; the bronzer has golden tones without being orange, which I like.
This product is derma e- BB Creme. I like this BB cream so far because I feel like it does give some coverage while still looking very natural. This is a great product to wear in the summer because it is light-weight and it has SPF 25. I think this would be great to put on if you were going to be by the pool or out in the sun in general. The shade is Light, which looks darker in tube but once product is applied it is lighter.
The last product is Pur-lisse- Pur Protect Essential Daily Moisturizer. I have photos of this product along with the other products but I did not take any separate photos of this one. Overall, this seems to be a great moisturizer. It has SPF 30, and other numerous benefits, such as Vitamin E and Soy Proteins that makes your skin softer and more supple; White Tea calms sensitive skin, and the moisturizer is absorbed into the skin quickly for grease-free application. After using this moisturizer, I could defiantly tell a difference in the way my skin felt! My skin really was softer and more supple! I will continue to use this moisturizer to see how it does. So far I really love it!
And this is just a little photo summarizing all the products-- I also got a Free Shipping Coupon code that I can use at Ulta.com.
What did you get in your Glam Bag? What did you think of the products? Let me know! :)
